Just to throw another company doing the same thing, we have used Community Computer Alliance for about a year, and have had great success with them. They are a non-profit, and they attempt to use materials they refurbish in your community. They give a certificate with the amount of waste (by weight) you saved from the landfill, and follow the typical drive destruction protocols. I believe they are comparable to Accurate IT in what they charge for non-LCD tvs, but pretty much everything else is free. The owner of the company is Dan Hurst (dhurst at ccompa.org) and he is actually the representative we work with. Their site is WWW.CCOMPA.ORG.
