The State Library of Ohio invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Chief Information Officer located in Columbus, Ohio.

  *   Directs and coordinates the operation of all State Library IT services, projects, and budgets
  *   Sets and implements the technology direction for the agency
  *   Plans and designs IT Infrastructure/Architecture
  *   Manages the day-to-day operations of the IT Department

Starting Salary
$33.83/Hr

Minimum Qualifications

·        Associate degree OR completion of undergraduate core coursework in computer science or comparable major

o    Coursework must have included at least one course in each of the following:

§  Advanced computer programming language,

§  Logic-based mathematics,

§  Database processing concepts, and

§  Basic data processing concepts

·        Four years of education or experience commensurate with job duties to be performed & knowledge and skills required on official position description<https://library.ohio.gov/sites/default/files/LIB_20010324_CIO.pdf>

·        18 months of supervisory or project management experience

·        1 course or 3 months of experience in budgeting
