"please excuse cross postings"

Greetings everyone,

Although summer reading programs have just wrapped up, it's time to get a jump on planning for next year! Based on feedback we are holding out popular workshops earlier this year but we need YOUR help to make them happen! I have a few presenters lined up but I am in need of more.

NEO would like to offer workshops at 3 locations as long as we have presenters for all three. We will need people to share craft ideas, present opening skits for school/library visits, share summer reading program ideas, Flash programs (quick 5 minute talk) and end of summer reading party ideas. Note: I am accepting themed (Fitness) and non-themed ideas! The presentation does not have to follow the CSLP theme since not every library uses that theme.

Please let me know if you or someone you know on staff would be interested in presenting. These workshops are a great way to get a jump on Summer Reading for next year and share with other youth services staff some great ideas and programs. YOU, the wonderful library community, make these workshops possible so please let me know as soon as possible if you would be interested in presenting. Then we will determine which workshops we can hold based on the responses.

Kindest Regards,

Rachelle
