Technology Trainer
Half-time (20-28 hours per week)

Shaker Heights Public Library is seeking an innovative and self-starting Technology Trainer to develop and provide both class and individual instruction on a wide range of consumer-oriented technologies.  Must have strong customer-service skills, be adept with a wide variety of technologies and have good teaching and presentation skills.  Must be prepared to work with a variety of skill levels, often in the same class. Need to be able to apply the principles of andragogy.  Must have a demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and be constantly learning new things and preparing to teach them.  Bachelor's degree, advanced skills with Microsoft Office and facility with Windows operating environment, mobile devices and social media required.  Prefer experience with digital photo editing, html and coding.  Experience with course development a plus.

This position works a variety of day, evening and weekend hours.
