Children's/Youth Services Manager
The Burton Public Library is seeking a motivated, innovative and service-oriented professional to manage our Youth Services.  For a complete description of this position and job application, visit our website: burtonlibrary.org


Hours:             Full-time, 40 hours per week, includes days, evenings, and weekends

Salary:             Starts at $16.50 per hour; is commensurate with experience

Benefits:         Benefit package, including OPERS, medical, dental, vision, life, accrued vacation, sick time, holidays and more

Qualifications:
MLIS from an ALA-accredited program-Bachelor's degree in elementary education or related field may be substituted for MLIS.

                        One to three years of library experience preferred

                        Knowledge of children's literature

                        Knowledge of computers and applicable technologies

                        Ability to work well with children and others who use the library

                        Leadership ability and sound judgment
