Greetings!

The London Public Library is looking for a highly motivated and innovative individual to provide adult programming for library patrons, as well as manage the Adult and AV collections.  The library is located in London, Ohio, which is 30 minutes southwest of downtown Columbus.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience
Master's degree in Library/Information Science from an ALA accredited college or university preferred or at least three years of experience in a public library setting.  Previous collection management and library programming is preferred.  Work includes evenings and weekend hours.

Skills:
Ability to create and provide engaging programs for patrons, ages 11 and up at the library and within the community.  A solid understanding of library and customer service that include circulation, reference and readers' advisory duties.  A solid understanding of collection development through acquisitions, cataloging, weeding and overall management of assigned collections.

Hours and Pay:
Average of 37.5 hours a week with a hiring salary between $34,000 to $40,000, including a comprehensive benefits package and the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).
