Job Title  	

Music/Arts Specialist Librarian   





QUALIFICATIONS  	

Masters degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited university is required.  Three to five years of public service library experience preferred, with an emphasis in music and arts programming and collection development.   



BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION   	

Oversees music and art collections including print, audio/visual and electronic resources.  Maintains collection through selection of new materials from a variety of sources and thorough weeding.  Knowledge of music, sound technology, art and reference tools/materials required.  Knowledge of maker movement and culture preferred.  Serves as liaison to local groups.   



HOURS  	

40 Hours Per Week 

Daytime, Evening and Weekend Hours Required   



JOB CLASSIFICATION 



Grade 320, Librarian 

Salary Range:  $18.91 - $23.63
