This is a part-time (21 hours) Library Associate I position, working
chiefly at the Reference desk in the Ashtabula building under the direct
supervision of the Reference Coordinator. Salary range is $12.00-$17.40 per
hour.

Lake Erie in your front yard with 18 covered bridges, a plethora of
wineries, and a nearly county-long hiking/biking trail in your back yard is
where you will find the Ashtabula County District Library system in
Northeast Ohio. Snow in the winter, beaches in the summer, and a low cost
of living to boot!

*Essential functions* include direct reference, computer instruction, and
readers' advisory for all patrons; assistance with interlibrary loan,
genealogy, collection development, and programming.

*Minimum qualifications* include an accredited college degree, familiarity
with library practices and principles, strong computer and communication
skills, and a wide range of general knowledge and a strong customer service
orientation.

*Bilingual English/Spanish skills a strong plus.*
