For those of you who do E-rate, this message from Lorrie Germann has some
important information about a new website. The site is intended primarily
for K-12 E-rate applicants, so it does not include the registration link to
her public library workshop coming up on November 9. (You can register for
that one at http://ceohio.evanced.info/signup/eventdetails?EventId=463&lib.)

Note that the "Join the E-Rate Community" link on the new website replaces
the current E-rate listserv, so you'll need to join if you want to get
periodic news from Lorrie.

Good Afternoon,

We have just released a new website for E-Rate resources, located on the *Ohio
K12 Help Portal*  at https://www.ohio-k12.help/erate/.  From the site, you
can access timely documents that will assist with filing the various E-Rate
applications, as well as news releases.  From the "*Events*" tab, you will
see the list of upcoming training sessions, and links to register.

You will also find on the right hand side of the webpage, the option to "*Join
the E-Rate Community*".

In an effort to "clean up" the E-Rate listserv, which has approximately 800
subscribers, and many incorrect or out dated email addresses, I ask that
you please subscribe to the E-Rate Community on my new site. * This will
replace the current listserv, effective October 3rd, 2016.  *

*Please note:* After clicking on "Subscribe", you will receive an email from
webform at ohio-k12.help, with a link to confirm your subscription.  So, be
sure to watch for it.
