Just wanted to let you all know about a few positions available that might be of interest. Library Director<http://www.gossagesager.com/mccrackenad.htm>, McCracken County (KY) Public Library - located in Paducah, KY, an innovative arts-centered community recognized as a UNESCO Creative City in 2013, is in search of its next Director. The Library serves a county population of 65,565 from a 33,000 sq. ft. facility in the downtown area and loans more than 713,000 items annually to 48,376 cardholders via a budget of $3.5 million.  The position requires a master's degree in library science from an ALA accredited program and at least five years of progressively responsible library experience-including at least two years of experience in an administrative capacity managing professional staff and programs.  The starting salary range is $75,000-90,000 and the position closes October 16, 2016.  http://www.gossagesager.com/mccrackenad.htm

Executive Director<http://www.gossagesager.com/arapahoead.htm>, Arapahoe Libraries - located in Englewood, CO, Arapahoe Library District provides innovative library services for a diverse and culturally rich library district just outside of Denver.  With a $32 million annual budget (the result of a successful mill levy increase in 2015) and a staff of 295 (244 FTEs), Arapahoe Libraries welcomed 1.9 million visitors to its eight libraries and its mobile and virtual services, and loaned 4.74 million items last year.  Qualifications include a Master's Degree in Library Science and three years of progressively responsible senior management experience-including specific experience with public library organization and operations are preferred; or any combination of relevant, equivalent education and experience. The position offers a hiring salary range of $130,000 - $150,000 and closes November 6, 2016.  http://www.gossagesager.com/arapahoead.htm
