Digital Learning Day Ohio 2017<http://www.digitallearningdayohio.org/> will be observed on Thursday, February 23, 2017!  As a part of this annual event, a collaboration of cultural, science and educational institutions is providing access to free, interactive, distance learning programs<http://www.digitallearningdayohio.org/?page_id=12> and access to free digital resources <http://www.digitallearningdayohio.org/?page_id=19> that can be used throughout the year.

Ohio organizations participating<http://www.digitallearningdayohio.org/?page_id=14> in this year's event include: Ohio History Connection, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, COSI, LEARNnco, SOITA, Capitol Square Review & Advisory Board (Ohio Statehouse), Columbus Museum of Art, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum and Hopewell Culture National Historical Park.

Since its start in 2012, national Digital Learning Day<http://www.digitallearningday.org/> has grown from grassroots efforts into a national initiative to showcase innovative teachers, leaders, and instructional technology programs that are improving our nation's classrooms.

Ohio is fortunate to have a collection of some of the most high-quality, experienced, and award-winning content providers, cultural institutions, and science centers in the country and it's through events like Digital Learning Day Ohio that give us the opportunity to increase awareness of the digital learning opportunities available to Ohio's schools.
