[OPLINLIST] Honoring a deceased Board member

We recently lost a long-term Board member whose contribution to the
community she served were immeasurable. In searching for a way to honor her
memory in perpetuity, it has been suggested that we put bookplates in one of
our yearly special orders- like, say, the Caldecott winners. This way, even
if an item with her memorial bookplate gets weeded, there will always be a
new item with her bookplate in the branch. Has anyone had any experience
with this kind of memoriam in perpetuity before or any other ideas on the
subject?
