The Athens County Public Libraries seek a full time (35 hours per week)
Access Services Coordinator. This administrative position has primary
responsibility for the library’s collections (physical and digital) and
technology infrastructure; coordinating collection development activities
among all locations and selection staff, coordinating the purchase of
databases with vendors, working with the web developer/systems
administrator in the overall user experience and design of library's
website and integrated library system, and coordinating with vendors and
library technology staff to ensure that equipment and systems are
up-to-date and functioning properly. Candidates must have an MLIS degree
from an ALA-accredited institution, and 5 years of experience in a library
including supervisory experience. Candidates having experience with
cataloging processes and procedures and/or experience with technology
systems and infrastructure are preferred. Salary begins at $22.00 per hour
