Summer of Tours: Columbus Metropolitan Library Operations Center
After two successful tours of the Library Media Center at Thomas Elementary (Dublin City Schools) and SEA, Limited Forensics and Research Library, CO-ASIS&T is continuing our third annual Summer of Tours with the CML Operations Center on Tuesday, June 13.

Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of Columbus Metropolitan Library's operations and technical services with Laura Simonds,Collection Services Manager. We'll learn about the organization, design, and workflow of the department. We'll also discuss how the department reduced processing time from a seventeen day material turnaround to an astounding forty-eight hours. Laura earned a BA in History from Ohio State University and a MLIS from Kent State University.

The Summer of Tours has two more events as we prepare for our fall conference. Future dates are:
6/28 - Pontifical College Josephenum Library
7/25 - OSU Special Collections
9/8 - Midwest Regional Conference
