The Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library is seeking an innovative and energetic Youth Services Manager. This full-time position (40 hours per week) is based at the Main Library (140 S. Paint St.), but supports activities throughout the city and county. This position has a starting hourly wage of $22.00 with paid leave and insurance benefits.



The Youth Services Manager is an integral member of the Enrichment Team and is responsible for developing meaningful and engaging activities and collections for our youngest patrons and their caregivers. This position leads a dedicated staff of three and represents the library in the community at events and meetings.



The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited school; or, is enrolled in an ALA-accredited program with an anticipated completion date. The successful candidate will have at least two years of professional experience working with children and have previous management experience.
