[OPLINLIST] Senator Cliff Hite Resignation

Hello all,
I just wanted to share how sad we are here in Paulding County to hear that
Senator Cliff Hite has resigned his District 1 Senate seat. He was a
supporter of libraries and our rural library system here in Paulding
County. Senator Hite visited our bookmobile twice when it was out and
about. He visited our library this summer as "Batman" and delighted the
children. He sincerely listened to us on our visits during Legislative Day
and was sorry he couldn't do more for the PLF. We realized that our
representatives in both houses are pulled in so many directions, but
appreciated his knowledge of and attention to Ohio's libraries.

It is not too often you find a politician who is so engaged and connected.
We will miss Sen. Hite and pray all is well with him and his family. I am
attaching a photo of his storytime session this summer.
