Information Services Associate

Two Part-Time Positions

20 and 25 Hours/Week



The Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library seeks a dynamic, upbeat and friendly
person to join its Adult Information Staff.  We serve the adult and teen
customers of the library and handle an active and diverse community.  Our
patrons come to our desk for many reasons, including general adult and teen
reference questions, passport and notary services, reading recommendations,
and tech help on all of their devices.  If you are a skilled problem solver
who can multitask with a smile and cheerful attitude, we want to hear from
you.

Required:

   - Bachelor’s Degree
   - Excellent analytical problem solving skills
   - Ability to assist patrons with use of computer software including
   Microsoft, Apple and personal devices such as smartphones, tablets, etc.
   - Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all
   times
   - Must be a U.S. Citizen (requirement to be a Passport Acceptance Agent)
   - Must be available to work nights and weekends
   - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

   - One year of customer service experience in providing friendly,
   fast-paced library services for adults
   - Knowledge of current popular culture and popular adult authors

Salary:  $13.71/hour

Hours:  20 and 25 Hours/Week (2 Positions)
