The Athens County Public Libraries seek a full time (35 hours per week)
Branch Manager for the Glouster Public Library located at 20 Toledo St. in
Glouster, OH; and a full time (35 hours per week) Branch Manager for the
Chauncey Public Library located at 29 Converse St. in Chauncey, OH. These
positions are responsible for library services delivered to patrons at the
library branch; including scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of
library staff; planning and booking library programs based on patron and
staff input; and formulating goals and objectives for the branch library
within the scope of system policies.

Candidates must have a college degree at the bachelor’s level or equivalent
library experience, and 2 years of professional experience in a library or
education setting. Candidates holding an MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited
institution are preferred. Salary begins at $18.00 per hour and is
negotiable depending on qualifications. For a complete job description
