[OPLINLIST] Early Bird Extended for OKI Children’s Literature Conference!

We know time can get away from you. At least, it often does for me! So if
you intended to register for the OKI Children’s Literature Conference
<http://swonlibraries.org/oki> and forgot to get that request in, no
worries! OKI’s Early Bird registration date has now been extended to 10/20!

This year, the conference will be focusing on how to #readlocal with
keynote authors & illustrators Adam Watkins, Heather Henson, & April Pulley
Sayre (from Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana respectively).

This conference is great for anyone who works with literature and youth,
including librarians and library staff, school media specialists, and
educators. You'll benefit from keynote addresses and have a chance to check
out many breakout sessions to suit your individual needs (more on that at
swonlibraries.org/oki#speakers), including a session on "Coding without
Computers" from SWON Staff.

Interested? First, you’ll need to create an account at
swonlibraries.org/register, if you don't already have one. You may then
register for the conference at swonlibraries.org/oki.  You can pay online
by credit card, purchase order, check or you may print out a mail-in
registration form and send it in with your payment.
