At 29-years-old, Eliese Colette Goldbach never expected to be wearing a
hard hat, operating a crane, or driving a forklift. In fact, working at the
ArcelorMittal Cleveland mill was never part of the plan.

Cleveland native Goldbach will visit Lakewood Public Library on *Thursday,
March 19, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Library Auditorium. *Goldbach will
share her story of grit, hard work, and heart--finding camaraderie in a
steel mill where a sound financial future can be found, but so can danger.
Goldbach's debut paints an intimate portrait of the people in the Rust
Belt, especially the blue collar backbone of our nation, and is being
compared to J.D. Vance’s *Hillbilly Elegy* and Tara Westover's *Educated*.

Books will also be available for purchase and signing at the event.
