[OPLINLIST] Beverly Cain's retirement reception postponed

Good afternoon,

Ohio's situation regarding COVID-19 is developing very rapidly.  The governor just announced that a new executive order regarding mass gatherings is forthcoming.  In his press conference, he stressed the need for everyone to make socially responsible decisions in regard to holding or attending gatherings of multiple people.  Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Beverly's retirement reception until May 28 from 1-4 p.m., after the next regularly scheduled State Library Board meeting.  It is our hope that by that time, the worst of this will be behind us and we can proceed without the fear of furthering the spread of this virus. I will be sending out a revised invitation and will request that new RSVPs be sent at that time. Thank you for your understanding.
