[OPLINLIST] Pods or kiosks for reference services

Is anyone out there primarily using a pod or small kiosk reference desk
model of service on the public floor rather than having staff sit at a
large centralized desk? If so, can you provide me pros and cons of this
experience? Is anyone going without a desk entirely?
