The Holmes County District Public Library is seeking applicants for the
position of Head of Adult & Reference Services.  This is a full-time
position with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week including some evenings and
Saturdays with a starting rate of $15.00 per hour. Benefits include paid
vacation, personal, sick and holiday leave; life insurance; health
insurance; and participation in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement
System.

Qualifications:

·         MLS or MLIS from an ALA accredited school preferred; a
combination of experience and/or education will be considered

·         2 years previous library experience



Primary duties:

·         Plan, maintain, and promote the adult collection

·         Develop and conduct a wide range of programs for adults

·         Provide reference, readers advisory, and circulation services to
patrons

·         Maintain the Local History & Genealogy Room and oversee the work
of the reference staff
