[OPLINLIST] Ohio Renaissance Festival incentive coupon for summer library programs

The Ohio Renaissance Festival, held weekends from September 4 - October 31, 2021, is again supporting Ohio public libraries by offering coupons for 50% off gate admission for Summer Library Program participants of any age. Any Ohio public library may distribute the coupons. The coupon is being distributed digitally this year - no need to request coupons from Ren Fest.

Please note these guidelines for the coupon:

  *   Print the coupons on gold-colored (goldenrod) paper. If goldenrod is not available, select any shade of yellow or, in a pinch, any colored paper. Ren Fest ticket booth staff will accept coupons on any color paper but they will be looking for gold/goldrenrod.
  *   Please distribute only printed coupons; do not send the PDF to library patrons electronically.
  *   The coupons are for your SLP participants only; limit one of each coupon per person.

The Ohio Renaissance Festival is in Harveysburg, 30 miles southeast of Dayton and very close to I-71 exit 45. It will be open weekends in September & October and on Labor Day Monday. For more information: www.renfestival.com<http://www.renfestival.com>.

No word yet on the status of the Ohio State Fair. A message on the State Fair website reads "We continue to monitor and evaluate options for the 2021 Ohio State Fair, July 28 - August 8, 2021. Plans will be announced once they are final." If applicable, I'll announce the State Fair coupon and any other statewide SLP incentives on this listserv as soon as any such incentives are available.
