Library and as a Public Service Associate, you’ll help us bring that goal
to life.  Along with providing exceptional service in a role that
encourages variety and creativity, you will work in a highly collaborative
culture where your ideas, input, and hard work will directly contribute to
the success of the team.  Starting wage is $16.11.



Primary duties include:



·         Provides outstanding service to patrons at all service points;
develops relationships with patrons and colleagues.

·         Performs duties related to the care and maintenance of BPL’s
collection.

·         Interviews, researches and answers basic reference questions;
markets library materials and programs.

·         Typically, this position participates in other team efforts such
as assistance with program development and/or implementation, community
outreach, or serving as a member of a project team.

·         May be assigned special duties such as organizing volunteer work,
assisting with graphic design, creating readers' advisories and displays,
and other duties as assigned.

supportive connections with our patrons and community partners.  We seek
