[OPLINLIST] CSLP 2021 supplemental manual, website, manual access

Yes, it's Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend, but I just received some important updates regarding the Collaborative Summer Library Program manual and website which may be useful as you put the final touches on your Summer Library Program.

The 2021 CSLP Supplemental Manual has been completed and added to the online manual. Developed for this transitional time, the supplemental manual includes additional program ideas plus worksheets, reproducibles, and grab-and-go activities for your patrons. Access it from the CSLP Manual Downloads section of the CSLP website: www.cslpreads.org<http://www.cslpreads.org>. Select Manual Downloads, then Online Manual. Enter the access code, then scroll down to "Artwork and Program Files." Under "Narrow Search Results," click on "Supplemental Manual (Packets)" to see all the files.
CSLP's Organizational Coordinator, Luke Kralik, has advised the CSLP state reps that the www.cslpreads.org<https://www.cslpreads.org/> website is undergoing emergency maintenance. The old software currently running the site is no longer being supported. Ideally, CSLP would have waited to update the site in August, but the site began crashing. Please be patient if you have trouble accessing any part of the CSLP website. I've found that waiting a few minutes and trying again seems to do the trick.

As part of the CSLP website upgrade, individual registration and login will no longer be required in order to access the online manual. You only need to log in to the CSLP site if you plan to order products from the CSLP shop. To access the manual, you will need the online manual access code, which was sent to a representative of every Ohio public library. The access code is exclusively for public library staff. If you need the access code, please see your children's/youth services manager or the person who coordinates summer reading at your library.

Any current interruptions in service when accessing the online manual, the CSLP Shop, or any part of the CSLP website, are temporary. Thank you for your patience.
