[OPLINLIST] 2022 CSLP "Oceans of Possibilities" online manual arriving soon

Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) manual access codes for the 2022 "Oceans of Possibilities" program will be sent to the summer library program point person at each Ohio public library system next week.

Every library will receive an access code which can be used to view and download the entire program manual in PDF format and all the artwork. The manual can be downloaded in full, by chapter, or by age group. The online manual is also browseable by age group, activity type, activity runtime, file type (e.g. art), and by chapter. Additional resources created by the CSLP and by member libraries will be added to the online manual through the winter and spring.

Previous years' artwork and program manuals will be available through the same access code in coming weeks. Public libraries are no longer restricted to using CSLP program artwork only during the designated program year, thanks to recent changes in the ownership of CSLP artwork. CSLP encourages libraries to incorporate past programming materials into winter reading programs, everyday storytimes, and library events. The CSLP online shop<https://www.cslpreads.org/cslp-store/> is open and is a fun way to check out the artwork while you make your wish list for 2022. If you require a paper or USB manual, they are available for sale in the CSLP shop.

The CSLP website was recently overhauled. With hope, you will find it quicker and easier to navigate and use. Organization and navigation for the online manual have also been reworked in response to librarian feedback.


The statewide manual delivery and CSLP membership are funded in whole by federal Institute of Museum and Library Services funds, granted through the State Library of Ohio. All Ohio public libraries have full access to and use of CSLP resources per the CSLP Rules of Use. Use of CSLP themes and materials is not required of any Ohio public library.
