The Piqua Public Library is seeking a Children's Department Coordinator to be in charge of a vibrant pre-school to 8th grade department.  This full-time position has excellent benefits, 3 to 5 staff assistants, with an average circulation of 52,000 items a year.  The department has an active summer reading program, puppet shows, and many other diverse programs.
The Library is located in an historic 39,000 square foot structure which was renovated about fifteen years ago.  Piqua is a small community, just thirty minutes north of Dayton, with newly updated schools, a joint vocational career center, and a community college.  Hiking and biking trails are easily accessible along with modern and traditional shopping centers.
