The State Library of Ohio recently announced the launch of the Ohio Collection Analysis Initiative<https://library.ohio.gov/services-for-libraries/library-programs-development/ohio-collection-analysis-initiative/>. Ohio library staff now have exclusive access to an original, self-paced, collection analysis initiative for considering collections that empower children and young adult readers by respecting and appreciating what makes them different and the same. This initiative provides the tools, time, and support to consider your library’s print collections for children and young adults.

The State Library is hosting a webinar this Thursday, April 28 at 3:30 p.m. on how to get started with the Ohio Collection Analysis Initiative. Join us as we walk through the State Library’s brand-new Collection Analysis Initiative. You’ll learn how to use these exclusive tools to consider the children’s and young adult books in your collections, programs, and displays—while preparing to deeply analyze your own collection. This 75-minute session is the first installment in a two-part series. At the second webinar, you'll have the opportunity to analyze your own collection data and receive live support.
