The Guernsey County
District Public Library is seeking candidates for the position of Outreach
Coordinator. The library consists of three locations and a bookmobile that
serve 40,000 residents. The library has a budget of over $2,000,000 and
approximately 20 FTEs. Located in SE Ohio, 30 minutes east of Zanesville, the
library is within an hour’s drive of Canton, Marietta, and Wheeling, WV.  The ideal candidate would be someone who is
looking for challenges and opportunities in exploring new and creative ways to
deliver library services to the public. Our community has been without a
Bookmobile for over a decade and took ownership of our new one in the middle of
the pandemic. This is an opportunity to create and build a service that we
believe is vitally needed in Guernsey County. Further, we need to do a better
job of informing our community about all the ways the library can serve it.
Benefits include holiday and vacation pay, sick leave, O.P.E.R.S., paid
