Ashtabula County District Library (ACDL) is seeking an MLIS-holding library
leader to launch a new endeavor in partnership with the Ashtabula Area City
Schools.  ACDL’s Lakeside High School Branch / Emerging Technologies
Librarian will lead the Ashtabula Area City Schools’ newly reopened school
library at Lakeside High School.  This beautiful space will be open to
school staff and students from 8 am to 4 pm, three (3) days per week during
the academic year.  The balance of this position’s time will be dedicated
to the enthusiastic exploration, implementation, and instruction of new and
emerging technologies available throughout the Library system and the
community at large.



*Salary:* $22.45 - $33.65 Hourly

*Status:* Full Time, 40 hours per week; requires some evenings and weekends

*Benefits: *ten paid holidays, vacation and sick leave; Ohio Public
Employees Retirement System; health and life insurance; option to
participate in flexible spending account and Ohio Deferred Compensation;
and a strong commitment to continued professional development



Those with Media Specialist coursework, experience working with teens,
and/or knowledge of and experience with emerging technologies are
especially encouraged to apply.



Ashtabula County is located in the northeastern corner of Ohio, nearly
equidistant from Cleveland, Ohio and Erie, Pennsylvania.  Enjoy Lake Erie
