Are you looking for ways to make your library more inclusive?

Join the Southeast Ohio Inclusive Libraries Support Group on Tuesday, November 22 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for a day of networking and training.
All library workers from anywhere in Ohio are welcome to attend this FREE event.
Attendees may attend in person at the Chillicothe & Ross County Public Library (146 South Paint St., Chillicothe, OH. 45601) or virtually over Zoom. Zoom links will be sent via email closer to the event date.

Inclusive Libraries Support Group Workshop
Tuesday, November 22
Agenda:
9:30-10:00- Arrival
10-11:00- Jeffrey Burns, Community Resource & Youth Program Coordinator at Deaf Services Center of Southern Ohio. Jeffrey will be talking about the services provided by Deaf Services Center and how libraries can help support the deaf community.
11:00-12:00 Grace Walker, Youth Services Librarian at Pickerington Public Library. Grace will be discussing how you can make your library more sensory-inclusive.
12:00-1:00 Lunch- Attendees can pack their lunch or visit one of the nearby restaurants.
1:00-2:00- Natalie Bota, Disability Resource Librarian at Westlake Porter Public Library. Natalie will talk about providing programming for individuals with disabilities.
