ALAO 2022 Pre-conference to explore how to make and sustain allyships.
Registration open until Oct. 19.

Scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 3 from 10:30am-3:45pm at Nationwide Conference
Center, Alexia Hudson-Ward, Associate Director of Research and Learning of
the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Libraries, will present
"Beyond Being 'Good Colleagues:' Implementing and Sustaining Active
Allyship Practices within Academic Libraries."

This important pre-conference session will explore how to develop and
sustain allyship practices within academic libraries. Participants will
engage with an insights-to-action approach grounded within the DEI
literature that demonstrates how to implement a strategic framework (The
Active Allyship Model TM) that emphasizes trust, consistency, and
accountability.
