[OPLINLIST] Upcoming E-rate Deadlines

Greetings,

In case you have also found February to be fleeting, Lorrie Germann has
some important reminders for folks who are contemplating E-rate deadlines:

*February 27th * - Extended invoice (BEAR) filing deadline for *FY2021*
recurring services for applicants that requested an extension before the
original BEAR deadline. This means recurring service received 7/1/2021 -
6/30/2022.


*February 28th * - *FY2023 Form 470 Application deadline* at 11:59 p.m. EST.

   - Remember, if you file a Form 470 on the deadline, you must wait until
   March 28th to meet the 28-day waiting period. This means you will be
   evaluating bids/selecting a winning bidder, signing contracts, and then
   filing the Form 471, all on the last day of the application window.


*March 28th* - *FY2023 Form 471 Application deadline**. *Window closes at
11:59 p.m. EDT.

The February 28 and March 28 deadlines are for all folks who are filing for
E-rate for the upcoming year; if you are working with OPLIN on branch fiber
quotes and orders, March 28 is the most pertinent deadline for you.
