Happy Friday, all!

Looking ahead to April of 2024<https://publicsafety.ohio.gov/home/news-and-events/all-events/ohio-total-solar-eclipse#:~:text=On%20Monday%2C%20April%208%2C%202024,a%20rare%20and%20spectacular%20event.> and wondering what everyone has planned for the eclipse. Many of us are having flashbacks to 2017 and the great glasses debacle. We're trying to get ahead of that this time and have a boatload of sun blockers on order to hand out.

Chillicothe and southcentral Ohio are not in totality, but we're close enough that folks (me included) will want to drive west an hour to be in darkness. I'd like to give the entire staff the opportunity to go see this once in a lifetime event. We're planning programs and education for the weeks leading up to, but have nothing planned on the day of the eclipse.

Is anyone closing for the day? Half the day? Or in any other way curbing activities?

James
