Whether you are interested in exploring the jungles of Malaysia, testing your spatial thinking skills, or replacing your hands with baseball bats, the VR & AR Experiences Kit features countless opportunities for learning and entertainment.

The Health Literacy Kit: Personal Wellness is the newest iteration of our popular Health Literacy technology kits. These Health Literacy Kits are fully developed adult patron or staff programs that you can take right out of the box and present. Each kit comes with the relevant technology for a hands-on experience, a fully developed and interactive PowerPoint presentation, and health literacy information and handouts. The Personal Wellness kit provides devices and tools that can track your caloric intake & hydration, measure your grip strength, and help you perform telehealth exams. LOOK FOR YOUR NEO-RLS 2024-2025 LETTER OF INTENT IN OCTOBER

It’s almost October and that means we will be sending out our 2024-2025 (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025) Letters of Intent. Our fiscal year runs from July-June and as a result, we begin planning our budget in January. We ask for your assistance with this by returning your Letter of Intent prior to December 31, 2023. Your membership is important to us and to the libraries in our region. Without you, we are unable to provide a robust schedule of continuing education opportunities and other services. Thank you!

Call for Mentees - 2023-2024 Apply to participate!

The Academic Library Association of Ohio’s Professional Development Committee (ALAO PDC) is excited to announce a call for participation in the ALAO Mentoring Program<https://mms.neo-rls.org/ct.php?lid=231643221&mm=82797588501>.

Mentees can be library school students, newly-minted professionals, or more experienced librarians. The program will help you connect with someone who can provide professional support, career advice, and help you identify and set goals. ALAO membership is encouraged but not required for mentees.

Program Overview

The ALAO PDC reviews registration information and matches mentoring pairs. The annual program runs through October 2024.
