[OPLINLIST] Fwd: Solar Power

Hello List, I am interested in talking to any library that has invested in
solar generation.

We are interested but it appears risky. We mostly want to save some money
on our bills AND, if possible, have a backup through battery and sunny
days, for longer power outages.

We are also looking at generators. Our most crucial need is sump pumping.
We are not aware of any battery system that can pump a large number of deep
wells for more than a few hours, let alone days.

Help us by sharing your experience. I am available to chat at your
convenience.
