Hello Everyone,
I am reaching out to gather insights as we explore options for improving our scheduling systems and platforms. Currently, we are utilizing Libcal for programming and room reservations, which generally meets our needs. However, we are seeking a solution that offers an improved layout and more refined functionality, particularly in terms of the patron-facing interface.
Additionally, we use Microsoft Bookings for patron sign-ups, tech appointments and creative room reservations, which has been effective. However, the process requires us to manually input these appointments into Libcal for staff awareness, which adds an extra step.
We also rely on When to Work for managing staff schedules and time-off requests. Ideally, we would prefer to streamline all these functions into a single platform. Is this feasible?
We are considering integrating the LibStaffer feature within Libcal and would appreciate any feedback from those who have used it, particularly regarding any challenges or limitations. Our fiscal officer is interested in using it for payroll processing, and we would like to know if this feature would meet our needs in that regard.
Any insights or recommendations on what other libraries or organizations are doing would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
