[OPLINLIST] Adventures in E-Newsletters & the Canva Blues

Hello All,
We used to use Constant Contact. It's easy to use, but it was difficult to keep up with adding new patrons.

A little over a year ago we moved to Patron Point and we love it! It connects directly with our ILS so our patrons are automatically loaded. We can send out newsletters based on patron age/profile, we have it set up to automatically send patrons a "happy anniversary" email to remind them to renew their card, and even a series of emails when a patron gets a new card to welcome them and highlight some of our services. Check 'em out!

Hello Everyone,

I would also be curious to hear what e-newsletter programs/platform others use. I have looked into a few platforms that vary from free to paid. It would be appreciated if anyone could share their experiences or preferred platforms.

Thank you for any information you can share,
Ariel

Hello, all!

I'm sure it isn't news to any of us that Facebook is unreliable in delivering posts to patrons in a timely manner. To combat this, I'd like to be able to deliver news to my patrons directly! Any recommendations on e-newsletter hosting sites/programs are appreciated, as well as any tips, tricks, or things to know in regards to e-newsletters. I'm interested in hearing about what your experience is with distributing e-newsletters and if they've had an impact on your patrons!

What has your experience been working with Canva within the past few months? I've hardly been able to work with it due to issues loading elements and sometimes entire designs. :( For those who do not use Canva for image/flyer/social media designs, what do you use instead?

Any information is good information!

Cheers!
