Several summer planning workshops are coming up in the next couple weeks, and registration just opened for an early-February workshop in Columbus and an early-March workshop in Bowling Green.

Ohio's four Regional Library Systems offer Summer Library Program workshops in support of public library SLPs, with support from the State Library. The workshops offer a terrific opportunity to network with colleagues, idea-swap, learn from others' experiences, and get invigorated and organized for your summer 2024 programs, special events, and reading/activity challenges.

  *   NEO-RLS Children's Summer Reading Workshop / Thursday, January 11, 9:30 am - 4:00 pm / Hilton Garden Inn, Twinsburg
  *   SWON Summer Planning Conference / Thursday, January 18, 9:00 - 4:30 pm / The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati
  *   NEO-RLS Teen Summer Reading Workshop / Thursday, February 1, 9:30 am - 4:00 pm / Bainbridge Branch, Geauga County Public Library
  *   SERLS/COYS Summer Planning Workshop / Friday, February 2, 1:00 - 5:00 pm (plus optional brown-bag networking lunch from 12:00-1:00 pm) / State Library of Ohio, Columbus
  *   NEO-RLS Adult Summer Reading Workshop / Thursday, February 8, 9:30 am - 4:00 pm / Westlake Porter Public Library
  *   NORWELD Summer Reading Program Workshop / Friday, March 1, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm / Veterans Memorial Building, Bowling Green
