Library Freedom Project (libraryfreedom.org) is hosting two special
evening events at this year's upcoming Public Library Association
conference in Columbus, Ohio. Info below:
What: LFP Presents: Indie and Radical Publisher Book Buzz at PLA
When: Wednesday, April 3, 6 pm
Where: Two Dollar Radio HQ
Library Freedom Project is an organization devoted to promoting library
values in practice and supporting library workers. At this year's PLA,
we're hosting an incredible lineup of indie and radical publishers
including Verso, Haymarket, Feminist Press, Beacon Press, and more (see
eventbrite link for full publisher list).
Publishers will take turns sharing about new titles, they'll have free
advanced reader copies to distribute, and there will be an open bar,
snacks, and door prizes. $20 donation supports this event and LFP's work
- but no one will be turned away for lack of funds - email
info at libraryfreedom.org if you can't afford the ticket.

organizations and meet other likeminded library workers. There will be

supports this event but no one will be turned away for lack of funds -
email info at libraryfreedom.org if you can't afford the ticket.
