[OPLINLIST] Position Posting: Salem Public Library

We are a community focused mid-sized public library located in NE Ohio.  We
seek an energetic team player with strong customer service skills to plan,
organize, and supervise circulation and reference services for our
library.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Provides management and consistent leadership to a staff of 12-14 direct
reports.
- Provides and oversees services at public circulation and reference desks
throughout the library.
- Coordinates services with other departments, library consortiums, and
library organizations.
- Selects and manages the library’s adult print collections.
- Participates in various special projects with other team members.

We have an experienced leadership team which embraces technology and
customer-focused services. The successful candidate will have excellent
opportunities for growth and involvement with new projects.

Qualifications: Master's degree in library science from an ALA-accredited
college or university and minimum of three (3) years relevant experience
with increased levels of responsibility of which two years of supervisory
experience is required.

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 with excellent benefits.
