[OPLINLIST] Patron Recommended label

At Pickerington Public Library, I am part of a committee looking at the
possibility of putting labels on items requested for purchase by patrons.
(See the example from another library in the photo below.)

Unlike the label in the photo, we are looking at making a more general
"Patron Recommended" label that could also be used on donations that are
added to the collection and books that are highly recommended by patrons.

We are also looking at the possibility of cataloging these items as patron
recommendations so that customers could easily find them.

Do any of your libraries do something similar? What are your thoughts on
doing this? Pros and cons? What are your best practices for promoting
patron recommendations?

Any input you give would be helpful and appreciated!
