We use AssetTiger. https://www.assettiger.com/

If you purchase enough asset tags, the software is free to use. Otherwise, I think my invoice was $100 this year. I don't know how many, if any, asset tags we purchased. We use it for furniture, keys, IT equipment, everything and anything we need to track.

It is really very easy to use. They have a mobile app, so you can do an inventory with a mobile device. You can create custom fields, run reports, insert photos, keep track of contracts, and much more. You can also export all of your data, if you need to. They have decent access controls as well, so those who work with IT equipment cannot edit the furniture, etc.

I could go on. As you can see, we really find it a useful tool.

Subject: [OPLINLIST] Physical asset management applications

Hi everyone,

Would you share what type of application or program you use to manage your physical assets inventory in the library? This would include everything, computers and electronic systems, furniture, art and so on... We are hoping to locate something easy to use and more useful than an excel spreadsheet.

Thanks in advance.
