[OPLINLIST] A message from IMLS and Second Lady of The United States Usha Chilukuri Vance - Summer Reading Challenge

The State Library of Ohio received a request to share the following information on behalf of IMLS and Usha Chilukuri Vance, Second Lady of The United States

Though many summer reading programs are well underway and wrapping up for the year, we hope you'll help us share this opportunity with the libraries and readers in your state. Second Lady Usha Vance is offering a certificate, small prize, and chance to visit Washington, DC for children in grades K-8 who read 12 books of their choice between June 1 and September 5.

 We see this as an easy boost to your existing programs, and a way to support and promote the Second Lady's commitment to summer reading<https://www.youtube.com/shorts/tdavZ_iAlAE?si=0q8dAJPIRmThBRsn>, her first national initiative. To help you spread the word about this challenge, we offer the following materials:
