Join us for an online presentation on January 15<https://www.ohionet.org/event/findings-recommendations-from-the-ohionet-2024-antiracism-diversity-equity-inclusion-adei-assessment-report> from 3-4 p.m. sharing findings from OhioNet’s recent Antiracism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) Assessment.

Conducted in collaboration with a team of library practitioners and consultants Pamela Espinosa de los Monteros and Janice Jaguszewski, the assessment process included interviews with BIPOC librarians working in Ohio, as well as three group “dream summits” (one in-person and two virtual), which were attended by over 100 librarians from across the state.

This free webinar<https://www.ohionet.org/event/findings-recommendations-from-the-ohionet-2024-antiracism-diversity-equity-inclusion-adei-assessment-report> will highlight recommendations for empowering BIPOC librarians, fostering inclusive leadership, and building diverse library communities in which everyone can flourish. The consulting team and OhioNet leadership will also share how we plan to implement these recommendations.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to review the executive summary (pages 3-4) of the “Together We Thrive” assessment report prior to the webinar on January 15. While it is not required, reading the overview will enhance the experience of attending the webinar, since time is limited.
