We also accrue by length of employment but we also include something for an MLIS in a position that requires, or strongly prefers, it.  The blue highlights are my comments.

I am looking into tweaking our vacation policy for employees. As it is now, employees accrue vacation hours per pay period based on the number of years they have been employed with us. Can you let me know how your library’s vacation policy works? Including any policy verbiage would be greatly appreciated.
