[OPLINLIST] Fan Fest 2025 Tuscarawas County Public Library System

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System is hosting its first annual Fan Fest at its Main Library on Saturday, August 2nd from 11:00AM - 4:00PM.

Fan Fest will be a celebration of geeky curiosities and interests such as anime, cosplay, and more. Fan Fest will feature gaming and an array of activities and competitions on all levels of the Library, panel discussions, and a cosplay contest!

The Cosplay Contest will be the signature event of the afternoon with varying judging categories: beginner, experienced, and group cosplay. The Cosplay Contest is intended for participants 12 and older. The Cosplay Catwalk is an opportunity for children 12 and under to showcase their participation and costumes.

In addition to the Cosplay Contest, Fan Fest will feature vendors, manga browsing, tabletop games, video games, trivia, and panel discussions on Cosplay 101 and Weapons. We will have special guest cosplayers Lexi.The.Geek and Ahasauros join the event as well to share their cosplay knowledge.

The Children's Department will feature a Scavenger Hunt, Dungeons & Dragons Storytimes, an origami dragon craft, and a hero's obstacle course!

Fan Fest will also feature a Boba Tea vendor to cool off and enjoy a unique drink during the event.
