Community Services Manager - Fairbanks North Star Borough Public Libraries (AK)

Qualifications: Required: Master's degree in library science from an ALA-accredited university/college, with five years of recent experience as a professional librarian with emphasis on public services, of which three years must have been at the supervisory level. Minimum of three years of experience in the use of integrated library systems, and demonstrated experience in library public relations for programming, in social media applications, and in online tools. Responsible supervisory background, including ability to manage remote and off-site service and program delivery. Preferred: Experience in a public library setting, as well as with the Sirsi/Dynix integrated library system and library information delivery technologies. Management experience in a collective bargaining context.

Director - Utica Public Library (NY)

Qualifications: Master's Degree in Library Information Science from an ALA accredited University, a New York State Public Library Certificate<https://www.nysl.nysed.gov/libdev/cert/> (or the ability to obtain certificate prior to start date), five years public library experience with increasing management responsibility, a demonstrated commitment to patron-centered library service and extensive community involvement and outreach. Familiarity with New York State Public Library Systems is preferred.

The hiring salary range is $85,000 - $110,000
