This free hands-on webinar will equip you to facilitate a science of reading workshop with families in your community. You’ll receive all the necessary resources to host a workshop: a recorded version of the workshop content, a comprehensive facilitator guide, family-friendly handouts, and creative activity ideas. You’ll also have time to collaborate with other participants to hear their ideas and plan your event, with multiple opportunities to tailor the materials to the families you plan to provide the workshop for.

You will be sharing with families about how kids learn to read and write, how your local Pre-K-12th grade schools are teaching reading and writing, ideas for how to support their children’s literacy development, and good questions to ask their child’s teacher. By partnering with families, you help to provide the support network that students need to become skilled readers and writers!
